How it works: UV radiation is divided into UVA rays and UVB rays. UVA rays lead to aging. UVB rays lead to burning. SPF50 means it will take 50 times as long to burn in the sun compared to if you hadn’t worn sunblock. In practice, this means approximately 2 hours of protection.

PPD rating tells you how much UVA protection you have. InZincable has a UVA rating of 16.93, giving it a PA++++ rating. This value was measured using the ISO 24443 UVA method.

Melashield is a UV-stable stem cell-vitamin-tyrosinase inhibitor complex designed for people with skin of colour whose primary concern is pigmentation from melasma, sunspots, acne, or scars. Traditional tyrosinase inhibitors cannot usually be used during the day, but Melashield allows daytime use.

17% Zinc Oxide makes this a 100% mineral sunscreen with no penetration of actives or nanoparticles into the bloodstream. This makes it safe for pregnancy, children, and sensitive skin. Blue light protection is also included, as digital device exposure may cause premature aging through free radical formation.

Why it’s good for skin of colour: This is the only Zinc Oxide SPF50 sunscreen that leaves no white cast on brown and black skin. Most “no white cast” sunscreens use chemical barriers, not physical minerals. InZincable uses only Zinc Oxide and is N.A.F.E SAFE. It also contains Melashield to target pigmentation, a common concern in skin of colour. Traditional depigmenters are not wearable during daylight – Melashield solves this.

Who is this for: For most skin types (normal, dry, combination), sensitive skin, and anyone over 2 years old. People with mildly oily or acne-prone skin can also use this product. Those with very oily skin or who live in humid climates or are physically active may not find it suitable. If needed, apply a translucent mattifying powder to the T-zone and jaw after applying to reduce dewiness.

Not suitable for those with a history of reactions to skincare products or those with very sensitive, eczema-prone, or damaged skin.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or expose to sunlight.

Directions: Shake well before each use. After cleansing and moisturising in the morning, dispense ¼ to ½ teaspoon onto the back of your hand, dot evenly across the face, and blend into a uniform layer. Product dries within minutes to a dewy finish. Makeup may be applied on top after it sets. Reapply every 2 hours during sun exposure and immediately after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.

Layering: InZincable should be the last layer in your morning routine. It is typically applied only after moisturiser or before makeup, not over active treatment products.

It’s also recommended to use a wide-brimmed hat and Dr. V Anti-Melasma sunglasses for added protection.

Additional Notes: Twist cap to open. Shake well before use. Product may feel greasy if not shaken. In rare cases, excess application or layering on top of certain creams may reduce the “invisible” effect. If your skin is very oily, use translucent powder on the T-zone and jaw for a matte finish.

When starting a new skincare routine, patch test in a discreet area and build up usage gradually over 2–3 weeks, introducing one new product every 2–3 days.
