Dr Vanita Rattan Exfoliate to Glow-50ml

Dr Vanita Rattan Exfoliate to Glow (50ml) is a skin brightening and hydrating chemical exfoliator, safe for skin of colour. Contains 5% mandelic acid plus 5% lactic acid with humectants and anti-inflammatories. For normal skin type. Step 4 of 6 in the Dr. V PM Routine.

It is strongly recommended to apply Super Hydrating Toner before using this exfoliator. Once a week application is advised for sensitive skin, and twice a week for non-sensitive skin.

Warning: Avoid if you have very dry/sensitive or oily skin, if skin is broken or if you have eczema, rash, spots, rosacea or inflammation. If it stings, please stop use and wash off.

This product is ideal for skin of colour. Traditional physical exfoliators can cause damage, microtears, and irritation, especially for darker skin tones. Instead, this gentle chemical exfoliation uses large Alpha Hydroxy Acid molecules (mandelic and lactic acid) for a more even, controlled exfoliation. Glycolic acid is avoided as it is a smaller molecule and can cause hot spots.

It is NAFE SAFE – No Denatured Alcohol, No Fragrance, No Essential Oils – to reduce irritation, which can be more problematic for darker skin tones.

Who is this product for? For most skin types (normal, dry, combination) and for persons over 16 years. Persons with oily skin are better suited to the Dr Vanita Rattan Trio Blemish range for oily/acne-prone skin. Not for persons with a history of reactions to skincare products or with overly sensitive or damaged skin.

Full Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Aqua, Glycerin, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Polysorbate-20, Centella Asiatica Extract, Triethanolamine, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

No fragrance, no denatured alcohol, no essential oils, no irritants.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (room temp or below). Do not refrigerate or expose to sunlight.

Directions: In the evening, after using Dr. V Super Hydrating Toner, apply 1–2 pumps of Exfoliate to Glow 1–2 nights per week onto normal skin and gently rub in. Leave on for 10–20 minutes max depending on your skin sensitivity (5 minutes for dry skin), then wash off. Use just once per week for dry/sensitive skin or twice per week for normal skin (every 3–4 days). Follow with Dr V Antioxidant Power Serum (if skin is not sensitive) and Cera Pep Moisturiser.

When starting a new routine, patch test in a discreet area and build up usage gradually over 2–3 weeks, introducing a new product every 2–3 days so your skin can adjust.
